My name is Nick, and I’m raising funds on behalf of Holly Padilla.
On May 15th, Holly was unlawfully detained by the LAPD, during which excessive force was used, resulting in injuries that required emergency medical attention.
She is now facing 60 days in county jail without access to legal representation or support.
Holly has been mistreated by many, and it’s heartbreaking to witness yet another failure of our justice system. The charges against her—domestic violence—are completely unfounded. The only violence that occurred was at the hands of the police.
It’s clear that, in this case, the LAPD prioritized arrests and bail revenue over justice and the safety of our community.
