JP Kilkenny and Support of His Daughters

Sadly on Dec 11, 2022, John Patrick (JP) Kilkenny IV took his last breath after fighting against T Cell Lymphoma Cancer and complications from a bone marrow transplant. He battled for 4 years, in and out of remission, moved back to DFW from Virginia, and transitioned his life around his girls and his local support system. Every time his health seemed to be treading downhill, he would just bounce back and get back to business of caring for his girls.

JP's battle took a turn for the worse when he was admitted to Baylor Dallas ICU in August 2022. He fought and battled, at times, we had thought he had turned the corner and was almost out of the hospital and in rehab, but then associated virus and auto-immune symptoms kept coming back and wreaking havoc on his vital organs. After months of pain and hardship, his body could no longer keep up the fight and is now pain-free and his mind rests in peace.

Sadly, JP leaves behind his two precious daughters, Elizabeth (Lizzy) and Katherine (Katy) Kilkenny. The girls have been living with their Uncle Chris and Aunt Alicia Kilkenny off and on since the diagnosis and will stay with them permanently in Prosper, Tx.

The girls have been warriors throughout all of this and have sacrificed many things we tend to take for granted. Unfortunately, medical bills have consumed all of their savings, retirement, college funds, and Life insurance wasn't available due to his pre-existing condition.

The girls requested his ashes be spread in the Caribbean per his request and have ambitions to go to college. Donations would be gratefully accepted to provide some closure for the family and to assist with future endeavors for the girls.
