On the evening of Monday, December 26 my brother, Marine Sgt. Joshua Bouchard, lost his home in Granby, MA due to a fire.
In 2009 Joshua lost the bottom part of his left leg and suffered a spinal cord injury after his truck went over an IED in Afghanistan. After spending three years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, Joshua received his home in 2013 from a nonprofit called Homes for Our Troops based in Taunton, MA. The nonprofit specializes in building specially adapted homes for severally injured veterans.
Joshua and our family are deeply saddend over the loss of this amazing home that has done so much for Joshua's rehabilitation. At this time, Joshua could use the funds received on this gofundme for a new wheelchair, prosthetics, and all household items lost in the fire.
