Josh’s fight with leukemia

Hi everyone, I’m Zach, friend of Josh and Julie Meranda, organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Josh to assist with upcoming expenses due to his battle with Leukemia.

In late December Josh went to the ER with a 106 fever. The subsequent blood work showed that Josh has Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Despite receiving this news days before Christmas and with two young boys at home, Carter and Ben, Josh began chemo almost immediately to fight the aggressive leukemia.

His treatment plan includes the 7+3 variation of chemotherapy, 3 days with two types of chemo, 4 days with one. This runs 7 days continuously.

While the cancer may have attacked his blood, it has not taken away his faith in Christ and the hope that the healing of Christ will cover this cancer.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
