I am Jordan Shanahan. I am a recent graduate from high school in the Santa Clarita Valley and instead of going to college next year, I am going on a 10 month mission trip to Belize. I don't have a lot of money, but I have a lot of heart.
For about 2 years I have wanted to go on this trip. I never really thought it was a possibility. But God has planted this seed in my heart; a longing for mission work, and now I have the opportunity to let that seed grow. I would be spending 8 months taking care of abused, neglecteded, orpaned and vulnerable children and youth at the Cove at Hopewell in Belize all while helping them grow with God.
