Jordan R. Smith vs. Wilson’s Disease
Donazione protetta
Hi! Jordan Smith is currently in a battle with Wilson’s Disease and is in urgent need of a liver transplant.
If you know Jordan, you know how caring, kind & funny he is. He is very hardworking, loves his family & friends and is currently serving his country in the United States Air Force. He loves the Lord and is truly a light to be around. Anyone that knows him loves him!
He was stationed at the Ramstein U.S. Air Base when he began experiencing symptoms. From there, he was flown to Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C. and then transferred again to Georgetown hospital, also located in Washington D.C. At Georgetown, himself & his family finally were able to get a diagnosis and understand why this is happening. This also came with the news that he will need a full liver transplant.
His parents have been able to travel and be by his side. However, it is unknown how long Jordan will be waiting for this life saving surgery, with a 6 to 12 month recovery post transplant. His mother, Tiffany, is going to stay and be with him for the long road ahead.
This sweet family has enough to worry about that finances should not be one. Medical bills will be covered as he is active duty, but Jordan and his mom will be living in Washington while his dad remains with his little brother in Tennessee. Please consider donating to help with any costs they might need on this long journey they have ahead of themselves (hotel, groceries, loss of income, etc.) Any & all help is greatly appreciated ❤️
