United States Marine, Louis Thomas Hulsewede Jr, succumbed to lung/liver cancer on September 18th, 2025. In his final days "Til Valhalla"; he shared that he would like donations, in lieu of flowers, to be made to the Marine Corps League Foundation, Inc..

The family asks that you celebrate "Tommy"/"Pappy"'s life by making a donation in his name as this was one of his final requests and how he would like to be remembered.

The United States Marine League's mission is to promote the interests and preserve the traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps; to strengthen the fraternity of Marines and their families; to serve all Marines, fund youth programs, FMF Navy Personnel, and their widows and orphans; and to foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism.
