For the past 10 years, my brother-in-law, Brad Hendrick, has bravely been battling neuroendocrine cancer, which is a rare type of cancer. His recent diagnosis is stage 4 carcinoid cancer, and he's embarking on a challenging and demanding journey filled with new treatments, which brings uncertainty and difficult decisions to be made.

A cancer diagnosis not only takes its toll on one's health but also on their emotional well-being and finances. The chemotherapy, radiation treatments, medical bills, and all the other related costs are quickly adding up as they are enduring out of pocket costs for most treatments and prescriptions.
