Join Us in Celebrating Ben's Climbing Life

Our climbing community has lost someone truly special.

Ben was force of nature. He was a man who lived and breathed climbing. Who got so much joy out of encouraging others to experience all the epic frustrations and triumphs of his favorite sport.

Ben gave many of us our first exposure to climbing in New England and was there for our projects, first accents, and impossible tries. He was that friend that was always down for an adventure, and taught us to try hard and believe in our own strength.

This fund was set up to ask the community for support in honoring Ben’s memory and help alleviate some of the financial strain his loved ones are facing since his passing.

In addition to paying off his expenses and debts, half of everything we raise will be donated to the Stewards of Western Maine Climbing. This amazing local resource is working hard to ensure our recreational climbing areas are maintained and cared for with regularity. By creating strong relationships with local and state landowners they want to ensure people continue to have access to the crags, walls and boulders Ben loved so much.

Any contribution, no matter how small, is so appreciated. Your kindness and generosity means more than you know.
