Join Ms. Molina in Supporting Her Students

I'm Joana Molina, or in the classroom, Ms. Molina, Miss, Sis, and Bestie. I have been an educator for the past 7 years, 4 of which have been in high school in Harlem, NY.

It is no secret teachers fund their classrooms from their paychecks. For the past couple of years, I have been able to do so, but with the needs of students varying from obtaining school and hygiene supplies, it has grown beyond what I am capable of providing.

My classroom, from the start to the end of the day, has students often hanging out during lunch periods because of overcrowding in the library or the occasional breakout fights in the cafeteria. They spend their time in my room, playing games, doing crafts, study hall, reading, or just hanging out.

This fundraiser is so I can ensure all of my students have the necessary supplies to be successful for the academic year and foster a safe and engaging environment for learning.
