Join Mike and Missy: Assist Jeff's Road to Recovery

My name is Mike, and I created this GoFundMe for my mom, Missy, and stepdad, Jeff.

If you know them, you know neither one of them would ever just come out and ask for help. They are both very independent people who like to take care of things on their own. But at this time, Jeff is relying on a lot of people for support.

Some of you know, but many do not, Jeff has experienced an accident that has left him with little to no mobility below the waist. He had a herniated disc in his neck pressing against the spine and had to have emergency surgery to remove the disc and place a metal plate in the spot to fuse back into place. His surgeons say he is very lucky because most cases he has seen, the patients end up being quadriplegic. He has a long road to recovery, and my mom is trying to handle home life, work life, and Jeff all on her own.

I would like to just help her and just lift a little bit of stress from her life and Jeff's so they are not worrying about how they will cover medical expenses, rehab expenses, and whatever else may come about with this recovery.
