Invictus Lodge 1777 is a 501(c)3 Charitable organization that prides itself on giving back to the community and those that serve the community as well as being a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing educational resources to underserved youth, a community group working to preserve local historical landmarks, and providing all types of support to those that serve the community and helps keep our community safe. We have been committed to providing charitable support, be it financially or through our volunteer work, to organizations that help serves the greater Chicagoland Community.
The purpose of this year's 1st Annual Black Tie Casino Night Experience Fundraiser is to clearly bring to the forefront the importance of Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention amongst our first responders. All to many times we hear about first responders suffering from mental illnesses such as PTSD, Stress and other mental-related traumas that force or cause these individuals to succumb to their mental states and commit the unimaginable all because of the stigma that first responders do not need help as they are the ones who are always helping others. Well, that statement is false all together. The goal of this fundraiser is to bring awareness out and let those battling Depression and other illnesses as First Responders know that there is help available, and we as a community are here to help. Money received from this fundraiser will be going to other Charities such as NAMI Chicago and 988 Crisis and Suicide Prevention Hotline (just to name a few). Our goal is to raise $50,000.00 to help offset the medical cost that insurance does not cover for some of these First Responders and also to provide the resources necessary for the First Responders to be able to get the help they need, because NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE. We believe that by achieving this goal, we can get the help out there to those that want and need the help. Understanding that the community cares about our first responders as they are the ones who ensure we live in a safe environment and provide the services we need. WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER. With this type of commitment, we are letting our First Responders know that WE DO CARE and that WE ARE COMMITTED TO CREATING A LASTING POSITIVE CHANGE IN OUR COMMUNITY.
We are seeking sponsorships to help us make this event a resounding success and maximize the funds raised for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention]. By partnering with us, your company will not only demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility but also gain significant exposure to our First Responder Community.
