Hi everyone,
I am here to call on friends, family and community to help Amanda, Jesse and their daughter Tessa navigate through these hard times.
Jesse, a devoted husband, father, fisherman, son, provider and friend has been transferred via Med vac to Brigham and Women's in Boston and admitted to ICU for major health concerns. Amanda was traveling from NH to Beverly to be at his side, and now traveling NH to Boston to do the same all while keeping their daughter Tessa in her same weekly routine of school and extra curricular activities. On top of everything, they found out their oldest dog Bruin only has a limited time remaining. The wonderful nurses at Beverly ICU were able to get Bruin in to visit Jesse.
It is in those small moments that they can feel love from everyone around them. Jesse has been sedated and yet still waking up when he hears Amandas voice, he is a survivor and fighting so hard. Married for over 12 years and best friends for over 20 they are each other back bone. This is an incredibly difficult time to be navigating without their husband and father. Tessa their 4, almost 5 year old daughter has been continuing to attend school where Christmas cheer and activities keep her busy. They had to cancel their yearly trip to Great Wolf Lodge, and Polar Express and friends and family are filling these voids that Amanda and Jesse cannot right now.
As Christmas approaches, Jesse will not be home for Christmas - making these dark times a little darker. Which is why I am asking that we as a community come together to show support and love to hold them together. Amanda is a stay at home mother, Jesse being the sole provider will be unable to work for the for seeable future. We would like to ease the weight of these times by providing any assistance we can.
All proceeds will go to medical and household bills. This will allow Amanda and family to focus on traveling to see Jesse as well as keeping Tessa in her scheduled activities.
With love, gratitude and appreciation,
Kelly
*I know WHEN Jesse gets through this he will come for me saying I should not of done this for him - THAT shows his strong will and unselfish character which is going to get him through this.
