Join Brian's Fight for Full Stroke Recovery

I would like to help Brian with raising money for the expenses he's incurred that are not covered by insurance. Brian had his stroke on April 24, 2023, where he remained for 36 hours until I found him. I took him to St. Vincent Anderson, where he was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital on 86th Street in Indianapolis. He spent 2 weeks in the ICU and 2 weeks in a private room. He has done beyond amazing in his stroke recovery thus far, but it has come with his determination and all of your unwavering prayers & support.

Along with his amazing medical team, his family, & I have done a lot of research to find other institutions and doctors that can help him get back home as soon as possible, where he wants to be. Due to so many unknowns with stroke recovery - due to every one being different - he is left with trying different recovery programs that have not been covered by his insurance. He has been faithfully attending Physical, Occupational, & Speech therapy sessions since his stroke occurred. Even when the therapists have told him they can no longer help him, he has continued to perform his therapy exercises at home. Every 6 months, he goes to the Mind and Eye Institute in Chicago, IL, to help with the double vision and brain recovery. We are so thankful for all of the help they have been and continue to be.

He most recently traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, to Johns Hopkins Hospital to participate in their NIBS program (Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation with intense therapy), where we had to also stay for a month at the Residence Inn on Johns Hopkins Campus by Marriott. Once back home, he will continue to participate in therapy sessions either outside of home or at home, go to the gym once a week with a Physical Therapist that he pays out of pocket for, and only take Saturday and Sunday off from doing intense therapy. We praise the Lord for his faithfulness in his recovery journey thus far and are eager to see what the Lord has for Brian's future. Anything you can help with will be greatly appreciated.
