Support for the Mills Family After Tragic Loss

On May 31st, my sister-in-law Jessica and brother-in-law John were in an accident in Colorado. John died in the accident, and Jess spent five days in intensive care, surrounded by love and prayers. On Thursday night, her wishes were honored and she was removed from life support and became an organ donor, ultimately saving four lives.

John’s coworkers have generously created a gofundme to benefit his mom in this time. This fund was started at the urging of my friends and colleagues who asked how they could support our side of the family during this heartbreaking time.

This fund will go directly to support my mother-in-law and father-in-law, who traveled to Colorado to be with Jess, and to help with medical bills, funeral or memorial expenses, and the many unexpected costs that follow such a profound loss.
