Hello everyone,

My best friend, John Denis, has been challenged with one of life's most cruel obstacles. Right before his 26th birthday and a few days before leaving for his fourth year of professional soccer, Johnny was diagnosed with primary mediastinal large B cell lymphoma, an aggressive cancer of the lymphatic system.

A little bit about Johnny - he is the most resilient and determined man I have ever met. Being best friends for almost a decade now, Johnny has brought so much light and joy to my life personally. He has been a man I can count on at any moment of the day. He is one of those guys in the room that can cheer up anyone on their worst day. The light he brings to such a ruthless world is something that I have always admired. He has been a positive influence to everyone around him. He has never given up on any presented challenge in his life, and I'm certain that he will fight this off.
