Jim and Som Will Rebuild
Donation protected
Message from Monique Girard Dolan (Campaign Founder) :
My brother-in-law, Jim Dolan, and his wife, Som, and their two pups have been displaced from their home in Houston, due to the Army Corps of Engineer's release of the reservoir located near their Fleetwood community. As you can see by the photos their Crossroad Drive home is under about 4 feet of water still! They do not live in a flood zone, and had it not been for this release would have survived this storm just fine. They DO NOT have flood insurance so you can imagine the hardship they are going to face when they can finally return to their home. I'm asking for anyone who is looking for a way to help from afar to please consider helping our family member get back into and restore their home to being the safe and liveable home it once was a week ago. Knowing this couple i know they will pay it forward. thank you in advance for your generosity and if you're unable to donate please keep praying for them and all Houstonians!
Message from Jim & Som :
"Hello to all my friends and family. Many of you have reached out to us to ask how you can help in our hour of need. I have always prided myself on being self-reliant and independent, but this situation is a challenge beyond imagination. So I ask that if you can, please donate to our gofundme site and give what you can. Every contribution is helpful. If you can't give at this time, I would ask that you share our story and get the word out. No contribution is too small; it all adds up. We will have to gut, disinfect and replace everything in our house, from appliances, to flooring and walls, furniture and clothes."
