Jewell Fire and Rescue Watercraft Fund
Donation protected
Here is your chance to become a hero to your local heroes.
Jewell Fire & Rescue is a 23 member Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department located in Jewell Iowa, serving the South Hamilton area.
The recent tragic even at Little Wall Lake has prompted our department to acquire new equipment. We are currently seeking donations to help us purchase 2 Rescue Watercrafts and the accessories needed to provide water rescue. Because we recognize the importance of water rescue at Little Wall Lake, a rigid watercraft will be purchased and utilized in partnership with Hamilton County Conservation. This watercraft will be stored, maintained and operated at Little Wall Lake. An inflatable watercraft and accessories will also be purchased and stored at the Jewell Fire Station to support the rigid watercraft at Little Wall Lake and also be available to respond to mutual aid requests for water rescue in surrounding communities.
Our members will be completing Water Rescue Training to ensure we have the knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively respond to water rescue incidents.
Please feel free to share this to help us reach our goal.
Thank you for helping us better serve our community!!
