Hello, my name is Larry, and thank you for taking the time to allow me to tell you about one of my best friends, Jerry Gitchel. Jerry is living with Diabetes, and has encountered some significant medical setbacks in the last couple of  months. He just had a surgery that has severely hampered his ability to continue the day-to-day operations of his company. As you can imagine, this puts him in a precarious situation.

We are asking for any friends, associates, and compassionate people to help relieve some of the financial burden placed on Jerry: surgical expenses, rehabilitation expenses, and general needs. Any and all donations are appreciated, and 100% of these funds will be used by Jerry to defray the unanticipated expenses resulting from this new surgery. 

I've known Jerry for almost twenty years and we've experienced many things together. Jerry has been a computer whiz , among other things, for as long as I've known him. He even selected my first password for my first website, laidback1. Jerry and I are both dedicated cyclists and have participated in dozens of MS150 events.

Jerry has always been known to be the consummate host, the party planner, a very hard worker, the guy that will drop everything for anyone, anytime and never expect anything in return. Basing all of his decisions on what's 'right' and good and fair, all who know him personally and professionally would consider him a friend and someone they're glad to know.

Jerry is generally not comfortable being on the 'receiving end' of others' grace and giving. However, we hope you'll consider donating during this time of need.
