The passing of Jens Dreyer

Hi, My name is Michael Marr, a school friend of Brandon’s and I’m fundraising for the family.

Tragedy strikes without warning, indifferent to who deserves peace or joy. It shatters lives with no sense of justice, falling hardest on those who least deserve its weight. There’s an aching unfairness to tragedy — it doesn’t balance the scales, doesn’t heed goodness or effort. It simply is: a cold reminder that life often deals its harshest blows without reason, leaving us to find meaning in the wreckage it leaves behind.

Right now, the Dreyer family are facing one of those heart-breaking moments, and while we can’t undo what’s happened, we can come together to offer hope, support, and some sense of stability in the midst of this pain.

Unfortunately for the Dreyer family, this is the second tragic moment that they’ve had to endure. First, with the untimely passing of Brandon’s wife Hege, 8 years ago, and now with his eldest son Jens passing most recently.

Many of us don’t know what to do in these situations and often feel helpless. It’s due to this helplessness that I wanted to find some solution that could possibly take away some of the stress of this unfortunate situation for the family.

A ”Go Fund Me” has been set up to assist Brandon and his family with funeral costs and to ultimately unite Jens with his mother who is buried in Norway. Any amount is appreciated, and all funds will go directly to Brandon & Magnus. As we come together to celebrate Jen’s short but impactful life, I ask in Lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Go Fund Me.
