My name is Tracy Bender and I am creating a fundraiser for my sister-in-law, Jenny (Bender) Tupper. Jenny is 46 years young, a dedicated wife to Anthony, and mother of 3 to Brendan (20), Makayla (18), and Devan (16). Jenny is one of four siblings, all born and raised in Lincoln, NE, and all graduates of Northeast High School. Jenny and her family relocated to IL in 2006 for her husband’s job.

Her younger sister Heather (38) was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of this year, and learned that she Is a carrier of a genetic mutation called Chek 2, which can increase the risk of cancers, such as breast cancer and uterine cancer. With this knowledge, Jenny went in for her routine testing this summer and also learned that she had breast cancer. An ultrasound, biopsy, and MRI revealed an invasive ductal carcinoma, both ER+/PR+. She also learned that she is a carrier of the Chek 2 mutation.

Jenny recently underwent a double mastectomy on 9/6/22. Jenny continues to wait for her final pathology to determine what further treatment will be needed.

As you can imagine, Jenny and her family have gone through a range of emotions together, but maintain a FAITH-OVER-FEAR mindset! Jenny has found the support and prayers of friends and family to be such a blessing at this time.

There are many costs associated with cancer treatment, as many components can be ongoing. I would like to help them offset any of costs possible, as they continue to support their family during this fight against cancer! Any support or prayers are much appreciated!
