Jennifer's Journey: Overcoming Tumor and Loss

Hi there. I'm Jennifer Miller. My daughter Kira and I have had a lot of loss these past few months. Its like everything is just hitting us one by one. It all started with a car accident on 12/2/24 and my car was hit and I went flying and nose dove into a lake in Patchogue and sunk. The car was totalled. While at the ER found out that I have a brain tumor. Had to leave NY to come to my mom's I'm FL to have surgery done. The neurosurgeon at the hospital is concerned that I have Metastatic Disease. So now I have to possibly battle cancer. This year just has not been good to us but we're part of a wonderful church. They were so supportive. Connect Church in Centereach NY. Love you all. Then on 2/3/25 my daughter Kiras father was on his way home from his visit with her riding his bicycle and was hit and killed by a car. 15 minutes after he left us. Having to tell my daughter about her dad was definitely the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. We just cried all night as I held her in my arms. It was horrible, but we're going to be okay. I don't like asking for help but if I were to ever ask for help now is the time. Its all been a struggle. I was put on a steroid for swelling of the brain and i I can't walk anymore. My lower back is always hurting and making me have to sit because i have gained 60 pds in the past 3 months. I cannot hold my own weight up. It's very sad. I can't work and we have nothing. We could really use help just surviving. Thank you to anyone who does help. We sure do appreciate
