Ok team. Here is our chance to help wonderful people who have made such a wonderful impact on so many lives and are now struggling.
Jennifer is a Leo & LOVES to celebrate her Birthday big time. This year on a less positive note. Jennifer has been the Sunshine for many of us through her inspiration, daily positivity, fun parties, sail boating, lake houses, Baron's Men events, Keep Austin Beautiful events and so many others that we have all enjoyed. She is a woman who can make anything happen but the universe is certainly testing her now.
Jennifer's mom Connie had a stroke 3 months ago. Luckily Jennifer was on the phone with her. Jennifer quickly got 911 to Connie's house in Dallas in minutes. Just as fast, Jennifer was down the driveway without her husband, dog or shoes....racing to help her mom.
Jennifer & Christian have spent the past 3 months in Dallas helping her beloved mom Connie navigate a recovery that has included a stroke, 3 blood clots, testing COVID positive, weeks of isolation in full PPE gear, a surgery site infection and rupture, weeks in the ICU, 2 cardio versions, almost losing her foot, aggressive wound treatment that causes great pain and most recently a third visit to the ER to treat pneumonia/UTI. I can't imagine going through this.
Through all of this Jennifer was visiting her mom in the hospital when possible, face timing her when she can’t be there, running her business in the wee hours of the night and keeping her family together in a pandemic.
Thankfully Connie seems to be on the right track to recovery. Her wound is healing on schedule, she recovered from pneumonia and COVID and physical therapy is starting off well. Most likely Jennifer, Christian & Bosco will stay in Dallas until at least November.
My financial request is to help the family with in home health care to administer IVs and wound care, wheel chairs, prescriptions, nurses assistants, medical supplies, Jennifer & Christian's rent here in Austin while also finding a place to stay in Dallas. This all adds up and I would love to help these generous souls & hope you will too.
