Jeannette's Final Wishes
Donazione protetta

Jeannette has been in the Maryland area in the care of an assisted living Facility to be closer to her only son, Edwin and his family. During her stay in the assisted living facility she has depleted all her financial assets.
The severe onset of seizures she has recently experienced, she has not recovered and is in the care of Hospice. Her health is rapidly declining and they are preparing her for her final hours.
Her dying wish is for a simple funeral and to be returned to her beloved home State of Florida and be buried next to her parents at Hillcrest Cemetery in Ft. Pierce, Florida as her final resting place.
Jeannette “Mom or Ama” as she was so fondly called, always loved the Florida beach, the Florida sunshine and her flowers. She was also a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan who you could hear from another room rooting for her beloved team or yelling “Go CSONKA” at those early 1970s games, with Edwin! She was fiercely competitive playing any game, but especially when fishing. She also loved something good to eat and some of her favorites were Lemon Meringue pie, Florida Lobster and Key Lime Pie! But most of all she loved Jesus, her Angels (which she collected) and her Family.
I am sending this request out to help alleviate some of the burden on Edwin and his family during such a difficult time. He is not only faced with emotional stress but financial stress of funeral costs, with the additional costs of transporting her between states.
I am hoping we can all help relieve some of this stress, so that Edwin can focus on the last hours spent with his Mom.
If you would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate donations in lieu of flowers. Please click on the donate button and donate whatever you can. If you are unable, please still leave a message for Edwin to lift his spirits!
Please make sure you follow this page so that you can receive the updates.
Let’s help give Jeannette the send-off she deserves and feel the Sunshine of the Florida Sun once again.
