Jax's fight

Hi, I'm organizing this fundraiser for my good friends Gina and Julio. Their beautiful husky, Jax, is currently fighting for his life at the vet.

On July 14th Julio came home to Jax panting uncontrollably and not breathing regularly. After rushing Jax to the vet, they uncovered many issues affecting his breathing. Jax's Pancreas and Liver are swollen, he is lethargic and not eating, frail and has a high white blood cell count- meaning he is most likely fighting an infection. In addition, Jax has lost 10 lbs in the last year and has generalized muscle wasting/ weakness. Right now, he is lying in the vet hospital in an oxygen cage, trying to breathe regularly. The doctors are still trying to figure out what's causing these ailments, so the price keeps increasing.

The list goes on, but the truth is the medical costs have become overwhelming for the couple, and I'm here asking for any help towards Jax's fight. Jax is the sweetest and friendliest husky living in Miami and has been an important companion to Julio for years. It's so hard watching friends get slammed with heartbreaking news and juggle the fear of going into debt over saving a canine member of their family.

If you have, or have ever had, a 'fur baby' that's gotten you through some of your most challenging times, you can understand the extreme pain felt here by this couple. I appreciate your help in this fight.
