The Heil Family

This past week we lost a beloved family man, a dedicated public servant, and a true friend. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Rose, two teenagers Jacob and Abbey and 6 year old Brooklyn. While we may not know why, Jason's time had come to answer a higher calling.

Jason was blessed with this uncanny way to make you smile even when that was the last thing you wanted to do. As a decorated Flagstaff Arizona Police Officer and a Public Safety Officer at Grand Canyon University, he devoted his time and unique skills to better the general public,students ,staff and his co workers. He not only held but excelled in numerous positions and assignments within the department. But Jason's greatest attribute was the love for his family. For the ones who knew this man and his family and for those who do not , the Heil's suffered a traumatic loss several years ago. Their oldest daughter Cabrina, who was 12 at the time, had succumbed to a brain tumor. This pain and anguish changed this family endlessly.


Rose and the children's life has been disrupted and changed forever. A once steady hand and guide is no longer there.
