Jake Harker - Cambodia expedition 2021

Hello my name is Jake Harker and I have set up this gofundme to help get me on an expedition to Cambodia. Run by camps International, my aim is to raise £4080 this will cover all my costs and contribute towards materials. Although Cambodia is now at peace there are still struggles, the corrupt government is prevening the people from rising out of poverty, parents along with their children are forced into employment to earn a small wage to pay for food! Majority of Children are having to work instead of getting going to school to get educated.
I feel very strongly about going there to help, I will be there for 4 weeks, I will be going to build sustainable houses, schools, medical centres, toilet blocks etc I will be staying on an official camp in the local community, working closely with the local people, to enhance their way of life, protecting their environment and to conserve the local wildlife. I can make a difference and this experience will most definitely make a difference to me on a personal level.
