Jackson's Showball World Series Prospect Camp
Donation protected
My name is Jackson Walker. I am an accomplished student-athlete at West Valley High School in Cottonwood, California, pursuing a goal to play college baseball.
I am asking for your partnership in the pursuit of this goal. As a left-handed pitcher, I am a valuable prospect and asset to any college baseball roster. Unfortunately, losing two high school seasons due to Covid-19 restrictions in California limited my experience and exposure during important developmental years. However, I am making the most of the short time left in the recruitment process now. I posted a 6-1 record during my 2022 season at West Valley and led my NorCal Nationals summer ball team with a 2.01 ERA and .355 batting average. Last month, I was named MVP of the Perfect Game West Coast Wood Bat Series Tournament in Stockton, CA. I am also an outstanding student, ranked first academically in my class with a 4.35 GPA.
I was recently invited to attend Showball’s College Head Coach World Series Prospect Camp in Orange, California, on September 10-11, 2022. It is an incredible opportunity to play in front of college head coaches from over 50 different NAIA to NCAA I universities on the West Coast. However, the cost of travel and the camp itself is prohibitive, so I am hoping to raise the funds necessary to make attending this camp possible.
I am continually investing in my own development through regular practice, strength training and conditioning, and specific pitching instruction throughout the summer in preparation for this camp, while also working part-time and preparing academically to take the SAT and ACT in the fall.
Your partnership is an investment in my future as an athlete and, more importantly, in my future education. Thank you for considering supporting me. I will keep you posted with updates and report on my experience and college decisions in the months ahead.
