Mike Anderson is an apprentice for Operator Local 139. He is a single father and one the best guys you could ever meet. This past month Mike unexpectedly lost the use of his legs while at training for his apprenticeship with 139. Since then hes been confined to a hospital bed at Essentia Health in Duluth, Mn. He has been diagnosed with Guillain- Barre syndrome as well as Diverticulitus. Just this last week he under went surgery for the Diverticulitus but still has yet to gain use of his legs back. He has been unable to work during this time, despite the fact that he still needs to care for his wonderful daughter Holly. Mike has a long hard road ahead of him and any donation of any size will help.
