Baby Miller's Journey Home

Patrick and I started our story 6 years ago and after marrying we were full of excitement to start a family but after a year of trying we made an appointment with our doctor to see what was wrong? Patrick and I went through several months of testing and continued on for the next 3 years where we spent our time going through different infertility treatments only to have great disappointment in the end. Patrick and I were crushed and heartbroken when things did not work for us, one doctor told us after a failed IVF treatment that our case was very “unusually”. Before the last infertility treatment Patrick and I had made the decision that if things did not work out that we would start our journey to adopt. After all, all we really want is to be parents and love a child with all of our hearts. So as disappointed as we were in that moment we were not giving up, we were making the decision to close one door and open a new door to start the journey of adoption. So here we are at the starting gate ready to find our baby!
