Hello to friends and family -
I have some really exciting and important news I would like to share with you! This June, prior to my senior year in Ball State University's nursing program, I will be traveling on a nursing mission trip to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. This 9 day trip is through International Service Learning which has been facilitating these trips for over 20 years. During my time there, we will travel among different communities to provide health care. We will spend some of our time at clinics in and around Santo Domingo. We will also spend time aross the border in southeastern Haiti. In addition, we will have the opportunity to make house visits during our stay to provide care for those unable to come to the clinics.
Now is where you come in! I cannot do this alone, so I am asking for your help in a couple of ways. First, I ask that you pray for me and my team to have a safe and successful trip. Second, you can help support my mission financially. Through your donations, you can travel with me and help me provide care to the less fortunate. Lastly, please help me by sharing my mission with your friends and family.
Upon my arrival home, I will be sharing pictures and stories of my trip so that you, as benefactors, can see how your donations helped others in need.
