Jenna Hope Johnson is 8 weeks old and fighting to heal from an RSV infection that has placed her on a high flow jet ventilator. She was placed in PICU at Wake Medical on December 8. Most children recover quickly, unfortunately her little body coined not fight without some help. She is currently still on the vent, in a paralysis state waiting for her lungs to heal. Each time the doctors try to wean her another part of the process becomes out of balance. She is in God's hands. There has been an abundant amount of support and her parents were urged to create this account to assist with the impending medical expenses. This wil be a long road but we know that "God's got this!" For those that want to support we ask that you pray, read your bible and love the God that is healing her.

It is 6 weeks since the initial post and Jenna is healing at home- praise God! Due to her respiratory failure that she experienced from the virus she is being followed by an ENT, endocrinologist and neurologist. She is receiving PT, OT, and play therapy to help her meet her milestones. I will not be returning to work until she is cleared by her doctors. I want to thank you all for all of your prayers, support and encouragement that has been demonstrated during this trial in our lives. We know that God is carrying us through--
