Indigenous Mother Homebirth Fund

About me:
My name is Andrea Cocolotl'. I am a pregnant mother asking for community support to have a home birth. Home birth is a sacred ceremony that has become denormalized in our society. My last birth was a traumatic experience in which doctors coerced me to have a cesarean which left me battling postpartum issues that my doctors ignored. After doing my research, I found a fantastic midwife who isn’t afraid of a post-cesarean homebirth and is helping me reclaim my indigenous and spiritual power by bringing my second baby into this planet the way I choose. I'm asking for support as my partner, and I are a low-income indigenous couple with a daughter (Metzlí), who would like to have this fantastic experience without financial hardships. I know right now is a difficult time for everyone, but I'm asking that any support you have please be given as it would greatly be appreciated.

How the funds will roughly be distributed:
$6500 will go to midwifery expenses
$1500 will go to Doula services
$1000 Food, postpartum supplies, and support
$1000 Childcare
$500 Gas and transportation

Thank you so much for your support
