PIVOT MOVEMENT - Inclusive Dance & Yoga offers community adaptive and accessible classes for individuals living with disabilities.

What did you pay for your last yoga class session? $50? $150? Not a big deal right?

But for many people with disabilities living in the Treasure Valley,
their fixed income doesn't allow them to spend money on things that are not considered a necessity.

You might be thinking, 'Yoga, not a necessity? No Way! YOGA'S A NECESSITY!?!? It's like coffee!! I MUST HAVE IT!!'
Believe me, I get it!
And for my participants, movement like Dance and Yoga are vital.

Consider this...  According to the CDC, children with disabilities have a 38% higher rate of obesity & diabetes!! And the same is true for adults!!
There are many reasons for this, but one of the big factors is a lack of accessible and adaptive activities for people living with a disability.

I bet you can count at least 10 Yoga studios right now that offer Yoga classes.
How many of those offer accessible and adaptive classes?  
I'm not saying that any of those instructors wouldn't accept and work with a person that has a disability.
Of course not.  
What I am saying is this...

Hi! I'm Ali Landers, founder, and owner of PIVOT MOVEMENT Inclusive Dance & Yoga, and
I LOVE WHAT I DO!
I have been teaching inclusive dance and yoga in our Boise community for the past 4 years and inclusive dance for over 7 years. And I LOVE IT!!!

I love working and Dancing with my students who happen to have unique bodies and movements.
I love watching them find their balance in Yoga, Dance their hearts out together, and make new connections with classmates and friends!
This is so important to me!

I want to make the PIVOT experience available to more people that are on tight budgets and fixed incomes and offer my students a safe and loving place for them to truly express themselves through movement in whatever way they please.
This is why I do what I do.
