Luis M. Huesca was a six year veteran of the Chicago Police Department, who's life was taken away in the line of duty on Sunday, April 21, 2024, only two days away from his 31st birthday. Loving son and provider to his mother, Edith.

Luis had a passion for life. He loved to travel and fully immerse himself in the different cultures, including learning the local language and trying the cuisine. His actions were very intentional, always showing up for his peers and family when needed never asking for anything in return. Luis was the prime example of bravery, loyalty, and integrity standing up for those in need. He was a kid at heart with an infectious smile and playful soul.
