There are many words to describe Amanda VanNatter (Schafer)...wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter, brave, strong, caring, endearing, humorous, resourceful and hardworking. Whatever word you use to describe Amanda, in some way she has impacted each one of us.
High School sweethearts, Clint and Amanda are raising three amazing, beautiful children; Jenner, Cali and Maverick. Amanda considers her kids as her greatest achievement and biggest blessings.
In November 2019, life forever change for the VanNatter family after Amanda was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. What the VanNatters didn’t know until recently is the type of cancer she has is very aggressive, non-curable and terminal. At this point it can only be treated through more chemotherapy to slow the spread. Most devastating is Amanda was only given nine more months to live.
In July, Amanda will begin chemotherapy treatment in Indianapolis. Her treatment plan has not been decided as the doctor is waiting on her new scans. In the meantime, Amanda and Clint plan to take a much needed vacation to soak in some much needed family time with their children.
This fund will support whatever is not covered by health insurance, any recommended procedures, childcare and travel expense for the VanNatters. We love and support Amanda and her family and hope that this fund will allow them to focus on each other and making sweet memories in the coming months.
