In Memory of Susie Sanders

Hi friends, family, and followers. My name is Amanda Gallegos and I’m Susie’s niece (Brandon’s wife). Danielle is like a sister to me and I wanted to start this fundraiser because this was a very unexpected loss, both emotionally and financially. Danielle and Laz already have so much on their plates and I don’t want Susie’s final expenses to be a burden for them during such an emotional and heartbreaking time…

Susie Sanders, Danielle and Max’s mom, Dominick’s and Hendrix's grandma, and our TiTi, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, May 13th. She was in a lot of pain the last week of her life and although we thought the stent procedure was a success, her organs had already taken such a hit that they were not able to stabilize her before they started failing. We were so hopeful that she had turned a corner, and so having to make these decisions has been so hard on Danielle and her family.

I am starting this memorial fund so that Danielle and Max do not have to stress about her final expenses. Most of you know that Susie was a unique, feisty, and selfless woman, but she also didn’t leave this world with her final expenses planned for. If you are able to donate, thank you so much. Susie was such a generous, happy person. She was always putting others first and now it is our turn to care for her so the family doesn’t need to worry about this heartbreaking part of burying a parent and the costs associated with that. Thank you so much for your support and prayers.
