Our beloved friend Manohar (Manu) about 45 years old, passed away recently after fighting a rare kind of Sarcoidosis lung disease. He leaves behind 4-year-old twins (boy and gal) and his wife, Roopa, a homemaker. Manu has been a voice for many underprivileged and helped so many elderly people in our community.

Manu was a fighter and fought very hard for the last two years. It appeared to have subsided, but his acute illness relapsed and claimed him untimely. For the last of couple years, his wife and family poured everything they got to save him from this rare kind of disease, and he underwent several neurological diagnoses and surgeries all along.

Manu has been a great source of energy and inspiration for us. He worked at TV-18 news channel (editing department) in Bangalore. Throughout his life, he dedicated his time to volunteering at local community services and helping many needy people. During Covid second wave, Manu created an emergency helpline to help elderly sick people. His relentless service to the local community is remarkable.

Manu lived his full life, made tons of friends and brought rays of hope to several acquaintances through his words and actions. He was not meant to be gone so soon but his spirit is around us. As leaves us unexpectedly his lovely family has been left dark and they see a tough road ahead as Roopa is just a housemaker, she is fighting some medical issues. Manu and Roopa’s twins need all the help from us to secure their future.

This fundraising request is to support immediate day-to-day expenses and build long-term funds for his children’s education.
