Family Support for Kristen Xx

Our beautiful Kristen was involved in a collision with a truck on the Horrocks Highway in Templers, South Australia on April 23rd.

She spent two weeks in the Royal Adelaide Hospital, but sadly, her injuries were too much for her to bare. She passed surrounded by her loved ones on May 5th, aged 39 years old.

Kristen was formally farewelled on May 23rd at Centennial Park in Adelaide.

We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated.

She was a beautiful, incredibly caring and compassionate soul and truly one-of-a-kind. Her life was taken far too soon. We are struggling to come to terms with her immense loss.

She leaves behind two beautiful boys aged 5 and 7 - her boys were her everything.

We are raising funds in support of her bereaved partner, Jesse.

Jesse has exhausted all paid leave to be with Kristen while in hospital, coming to terms with her passing and organising her funeral. Although he will return to work at a reduced capacity in future, he will be taking extended unpaid leave in coming months to finalise Kristen's affairs and adjust to life as the sole parent of their two boys - while grieving the profound loss of his soulmate.

Many of you have asked how you can support us going forward - this fundraiser is the most practical way to be of direct assistance to Kristen's family.

Your donations will be used to cover general on-going costs of running a household so Jesse doesn't fall behind, making sure their boys have everything they need, and covering some of Kristen's funeral expenses.
