Meals on Wheels provides seniors with nutritious meals, companionship, and safety checks, all essential for their health, functionality, and independence, especially for those who may lack family support, mobility, or resources. The daily visit from a Meals on Wheels volunteer or staff member is often the only social interaction that seniors receive, giving them a reason to look forward to their day and a reminder to take care of themselves.

Additionally, the Fulton, New York Senior Nutrition Center promotes community engagement and socialization for seniors through services such as home-delivered meals, congregate meals, transportation, and social activities.
