In memory of Adam Mahamat
Donation protected
Adam Mahamat was an incredible young boy—kind, hardworking, and full of hope. He spent over 10 years in a refugee camp, waiting for the chance to come to the United States and build a better future for him and his family. A dream of becoming a doctor one day so he could help others and especially help his Mother and his eight siblings. With such a promising future his life was taken far too soon, when he was stuck by an SUV crossing the street to Kearns Jr. High. We would love and appreciate everyone to remember him not just from this tragedy, but for his strength, love for everyone, and ambition that defined him. He is more than a victim—he is a son, a brother, a friend, a dreamer, and a light in our lives.
We are raising funds to support his grieving mother who is now facing an unimaginable hardship of losing her son all while continuing to raise eight children alone. Adam was a big help to his younger siblings. His Mother has worked tirelessly to provide for her family, making ends meet has been a constant struggle. Now, after the devastating loss of her son, the burden has become even greater. Your donation will first go directly towards funeral expenses and secondly help with other necessities for Adam's immediate family. Your support will help ease the financial stress of Adam's burial service and give his Mother the stability she needs during this heartbreaking time.
We really do appreciate our community coming together and showing your love and support. With every contribution and sharing his story will make a difference in honoring Adam’s memory and also ensuring his family is cared for.
May God bless you.
