In Loving Memory of My Wife Megan Beer
Sadly, my wife, Megan Elizabeth Beer, passed away on 5/14/2020 early in the morning. She was a completely devoted wife and mother to our two girls Althea (7) and Mayzie (5). It was always her dream to live in Corbett so our girls could get a good education and get out of the city. She loved living next door to an adorable flock of sheep among the many other critters that roam Corbett. This was her “X” on the map. She also loved volunteering and donating to the Helping Hands program at the grange. Which in her name I still am. She was a wealth of knowledge about everything! She never took anything at face value. She always investigated and researched anything so that we could always make the best decisions for our family. She was truly the staple that held us together. But I’m going to do my best to make her proud.
I would like to ask for donations to help with funeral and memorial costs. It will also go to making sure my girls have what they need right now and to help with our transition emotionally. Thirdly I am taking unpaid time off to grieve and be there for my girls which I have a small amount of PTO to help but that will leave me with no time later this year for vacation time at home. And finally to pay for a couple financial obligations that we’ve had hanging over our head. I want to be there for my girls every minute when they need me. Every cent donated is so greatly appreciated and will help more than you know. Megan and I have loved our community from the first minute we lived here. I know this was our forever town and I’m so proud that this was where she was able to live her last moments, although she was taken from us way too soon, I know she’s looking down on us, helping me with the girls, talking me through decisions, and overall staying in our hearts.
Thank you so much for your generosity and prayers. They mean the world to me.
