In Loving Memory of Mason Ryan Stiglich
On August 15, 2026, the Stiglich family suffered the unimaginable loss of their youngest family member, Mason Ryan Stiglich.
On August 12, Mason was involved in a terrible tragedy in Eagle River, Alaska. Despite the extraordinary efforts of EMS, hospital staff, and Mason’s own incredible fighting spirit, he sadly succumbed to his injuries on August 15. Mason was surrounded by his family and friends who loved him dearly.
There are no words that can adequately describe the pain of losing a child. No parent should ever have to face a tragedy of this nature, and no family should have to endure the heartbreak that Jared, Billie, and Caleb are now experiencing. The loss of Mason is unimaginable, and the days ahead will be incredibly difficult.
In the midst of this tragedy, firefighters, family, friends, and members of the community have stepped forward in an incredible way to surround the Stiglich family with love, support, prayers, and strength. The outpouring of compassion has meant more than words can express and will be something the family remembers and appreciates forever.
This was an unexpected and devastating event that no family could ever prepare for. While the Stiglich family has already endured more than anyone should have to bear, some of the most difficult days are still ahead. As Jared, Billie, and Caleb grieve Mason and begin navigating the painful days ahead, they are also facing significant and unexpected expenses related to Mason’s emergency care, hospitalization, and the services and arrangements that will follow.
This GoFundMe has been established to help ease some of that financial burden. Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will help offset these unexpected costs and allow the Stiglich family to focus on what truly matters right now: grieving Mason, being together, and taking care of one another.
If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this page, keeping the Stiglich family in your thoughts and prayers, or simply reaching out with a message of love and support is meaningful and deeply appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who has already stood beside this family. Your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support during the darkest of times will never be forgotten.
