• Our family has suffered the tremendous loss of a beloved father, son, uncle, and brother Ernesto "Shaggy" Gonzales. He passed away on May 29, 2024. Shaggy was loved by many and had a big heart he was always there when you needed him. Ernie loved his friends and family more than anything. He was always seeking new adventures and experiences. He loved traveling anywhere and everywhere. He could be a pest but he always had the best intentions. He cared for people everywhere he donated whenever he could, did fundraisers for Christmas, and even wanted to adopt because he said their were so many children in the world without a loving home and he wanted to provide for them. He was an artistic soul he was a painter, tattoo artist, guitarist, and so much more. He was very talented, skilled, bright, and extremely clever. He loved to cook he was an aspiring chef he always made a plate for anyone who visisted. He loved challenging himself and cooking new things. When he wanted to try something he would put his whole heart into it and make it happen. Shaggy loved comedy and even claimed George Lopez was his uncle and always told the story of how George Lopez followed him on Instagram. He had an absurd type of humor but never failed to put a smile on your face. He was a wonderful listener and always gave the most off the wall advice at times but was very serious when it came to important topics. He was the type of person you need a warning label for he was very bold and ballsy and wasn't afraid to tell you what he was thinking. He was the biggest supporter I knew he always supported you and would always push you to outdo yourself.

A visitation for Ernesto will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Desert Rose Heather Cremation & Burial, 1040 North Columbus BIvd, Tucson, AZ 85711.
