Honoring the Life and Legacy of Beatrice Bilema Musesa

Hello, my name is Alexis and I am creating this fundraiser in memory of Beatrice Bilema Musesa, my boyfriend’s mother, who was like a mom to me.

On September 15, 2025, our beloved Beatrice Bilema Musesa passed away suddenly at the age of 57. Beatrice was not only a devoted mother, daughter, and sister, but also a light in the lives of everyone who knew her.

Born in Mbuji-Mayi, Beatrice built a life in Sudbury where she poured her heart into raising her four children — Tshiondo, Djuwa, Mbuyi, and Generose — who were her greatest joy. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether through her warm embrace, encouraging words, or home-cooked meals, Beatrice gave love without hesitation. To so many, she truly became “a mother to everyone.”

Beatrice dedicated her career to serving others as a crisis helpline worker at Centre Victoria, where she offered compassion, understanding, and hope to countless people in need. Her faith, adventurous spirit, and boundless generosity defined her life and left an unforgettable mark on her family, her community, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her sudden passing has left her children heartbroken and facing not only the deep grief of losing their mom but also the financial challenges that come with it. We are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and provide assistance with rent, food, and daily living costs for her children during this devastating time.
