Arnold was an amazing person, love by a lot of people and his family.  A devoted catholic, loved by the love of his life Rosa Herrera and his parents Morena De Paz and Dennis Mendoza .  He was born in El Salvador in 1996 and was an Honor Roll student.  He loved to cook and was on his way to become a chef. 

In 2012, In El Salvador, the gangs wanted to force him to join the gang and he refused.  He was beaten more than few times because he refused.  His parents were forced to change schools for him, a total of 6 times and they were always able to find him and threaten him to join or he would be killed.

His mother sold her business and took on the long journey to save her son and requested asylum at the U.S. border.  He was 17 years old when they had to escape from the gangs in El Salvador.  He missed his homeland and hated the fact that gangs had taken over his homeland.

After, being granted temporary Asylum in the U.S. He started going to school and working part time to help out his mother.  He continued to excel in school and had a dream to become a chef.

In October of 2017 he was diagnosed with Bile Duct Cancer, and he decided to fight it with chemotherapy, however, the Cancer was very aggressive and it was diagnosed too late.

The funds are needed for help his mother with the funeral expenses and medical bills. The medical bills alone are more than the funeral expenses and we are asking friends and family for any help that they can provide.  Every little bit counts and Arnold's family will be forever grateful.  The funds for the funeral are needed as soon as possible.  May God bless all of you and your families and thank you for honoring his memory.
