Mike’s sense of adventure was matched only by his desire to help disabled children wherever he landed. We invite you to honor that spirit while supporting a cause which he was passionate about - the Taos Winter Sports Teams' adaptive skiing programs:

Special Olympics Spectrum Autism Race Camp: a 10-day program held each year in June at Mt. Hood, Oregon;
Adaptive ski clinics for school groups at Taos Ski Valley Resort: 5-week programs for disabled kids ages 5-18 held during the school year.

In addition, this fundraiser seeks to broaden the scope of the programming offered by this wonderful organization to include an internship in which disabled athletes can train to become certified adaptive ski coaches. This would include offsetting their costs of travel, room and board, equipment, training, etc.

Please help us fund these programs for the next five years in his name. Mike cherished such approaches to empowering disabled youth to find joy and personal growth in the outdoors.

Taos Winter Sports Team is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit.
