Improve The Self-Worth of Children

After working with children over the years, I realized that many children grow up with a poor self-image. A poor self-image is caused by unsupportive or absent parents, bullying, verbal & physical abuse, and the explosion of social media platforms that prove to be doing more harm than good. However, research has shown that self-esteem issues in all people can be corrected or mitigated by a constant, consistent, and positive message.

Therefore, I have created a patent-pending product designed for the specific purpose of improving the self-esteem of children. I am very passionate about this multi-purpose product because it allows me to help millions of children develop a strong and positive character very early in life. In addition, the product can help children combat negativity and create better mental and emotional health and well-being that will carry them from childhood, through their teenage years, and into adulthood. By backing this project, you, too, will be helping millions of children develop and maintain positive self-esteem and a successful outlook on life.

Introducing THE BEAUTIFUL MIRROR™ (TBM) - an illuminating, talking mirror that includes a series of fun-filled audio programs to help make a child smile. I am requesting $15,000.00 in crowdfunding to commission a working physical or CGI prototype of TBM. I am working with a pro bono patent attorney through the Philadelphia Lawyers for the Arts (pvla.org), who has filed a provisional patent application and provides me with ongoing pro bono services.

I have prototype functionality sheets, a completed business plan, and there are several price point options for TBM including a stand-alone mirror or a lower cost version that fits onto an existing mirror. TBM can include closed-captioning, a language learning module, and other expansion options.
