ICE Took Him Away — Let’s Help Alexia Bring Him Back Home

We’re reaching out today on behalf of a beloved friend and colleague — Alexia — a kind, responsible, and deeply hardworking woman whose partner was recently detained by ICE.

Alexia works multiple jobs — including at our salon — and is the kind of person who always gives more than she takes. She and her partner have been quietly building a life of dignity and hope together. But now, that life is under threat.

Her partner is not only her emotional support — he is also the legal guardian and sole caregiver of his three younger brothers, all of whom are still minors. His sudden detention has shaken the entire family, leaving them in crisis and at risk of being torn apart.

To fight for his release and protect the future of these boys, Alexia needs to raise several thousand dollars in legal fees before June 30th — a deadline that is fast approaching.

She’s doing everything she can.

She even organized a pollada, a traditional Peruvian fundraiser, to raise money through food sales. But while her effort is heartfelt and tireless, the funds raised so far are simply not enough to cover the urgent legal costs.
