In Oct of 2012, I suffered a brain aneurysm that left me disabled and now have to live with ataxia (that sucks!), but I’m here thank God. I have been working my but off in therapy and exercise, it has paid off big time. I'm only half way there, but walking around a bit, still not 100% but getting there. I need a hand rail put in out front of my house because of my balance issues thanks to this crap, “ataxia”. Now because I live in an apartment, the rail has to be specific for the association comity. I had a quote of $1,367 but that was a while ago and just an "estimate", could be more or less. I will get another estimate that will be current. I won’t need the rail right away, but very soon, let the snow melt a bit. Because of the steps out front, I won’t even attempt going out alone, someone has to help me (sure would love some independence and freedom). I have a garage downstairs that works for me, but I would love to pull up out front and use that door.
